The new moon was sighted inthe United States other parts of the world on Thursday night,March 19th, 2026 This begins the first biblical month of Aviv/Nissan. The Israeli New Moon Calendar sighted it on Friday night, March 20th. The Chasidic Calendar observed it on Wednesday night, March 18th. It's the countdown to the Spring High Holy Days.
