NOTE: All of the yous and yours underlined as "you" and "your" indicates that the you and the your are plural. Also any of the words that are in pink lettering as "you" refers to the feminine gender, but it is only applied when it does not commonly refer to a woman. This only is applied to this week's Torah portion text at this time.

CHAPTER 33
Deuteronomy 33:1-29

Deu 33:1 And this is the blessing which Moses, the man of the Elohim, blessed את-the Sons of Israel to the facing of his death, 2 and said, יהוה came from Sinai, and irradiated from Seir to them; shined forth from Mount Paran, and arrived with myriads (millions) of Sacred Ones (Holy Ones): from His Right came a Fiery Decree to them, 3 moreover (also) cherishes the Peoples; all of His Sacred Ones (Holy Ones) were in Your Hand: and they strewed down (sat down) to Your Feet; lifted up (carried, bore) with Your Words. 4 Moses commanded to us a Teaching (Torah) of a possession (occupation) at the Assembly of Jacob, 5 and was King in Jeshurun, in the gathering the Heads of the People together, the Tribes of Israel.

6 Have Reuben live and not die; and his adult men shall be enrolled (scrolled, numbered) [(with enrollment, with scroll, with number)].

7 And this is of Judah: and said, Hear, יהוה, the voice of Judah, and to his People: You shall bring him; his hands were multiple to him, and You shall be a help from his distressors (afflictors, foes).

8 And to Levi, said, Your Thummim and your Urim are for your Merciful (Saintly) Man which you tested (tempted, tried, proved) him in Massah, you contended him upon the waters of Meribah; 9 that said to his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; and את-his brothers were not regarded (acknowledged, respected, perceived), and did not know את-his sons: for they have guarded (kept, observed, heeded) Your Saying, and they have preserved (watched) Your Covenant. 10 They shall teach Your Ordaninces to Jacob, and Your Teaching (Torah) to Israel: they shall put incense on Your Nostrils, and the Whole Offering upon Your Altar. 11 יהוה, bless his valor, and You shall accept (be pleased, delight) the work of his hands: crush (dash) the loins of his arisers, and his haters from their arising.

12 Of Benjamin, said, The beloved of יהוה shall tabernacle for security (safety) upon him; shall protect (veil) upon him all of the day, and shall tabernacle between his upper arm corners (shoulders).

13 And of Joseph said, With the blessing of יהוה shall be his land, with the preciousness (distinguishing, value) of the Heavens from (with) the dew, and with the deepness (abyss) crouching from beneath, 14 and with the preciousness (distinguishing, value) of the produce of the sun, and of the precious driving yields (grazings?) of the moons, 15 And with the heads of the ancient mountains, and with the preciousness (distinguishing, value) of the hills (hillocks) of ages [(everlasting hills)], 16 And with the preciousness (distinguishing, value) of the Earth and her fullness, and the delightness (pleasantness, acceptance) of the tabernacling in the bramble bush (thorn bush): she shall come of her to the head of Joseph, and to the crown of the consecration (set apartness) of his brothers. 17 The firstborn of his ox is honor (countenance, splendor, majesty, magnificence) to him, and the horns of a wild bull (?arisen bull?) are his horns: shall butt the peoples together among them, shall be united at the uttermost part (limit, end) of the Earth: and they are the myriads (millions) of Ephraim, and they are thousands of Manasseh.

18 And of Zebulun, said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out; and Issachar, in your tents. 19 They shall call the Peoples at the mountain; there they shall sacrifice Sacrifices of Righteousness: for they shall suck the abundance (resources) of the seas, and treasures (concealing valuables) shall be laid over (covered over, be private, hidden) at the sand.

20 And of Gad, said, Blessed shall be the enlargment (broadening) of Gad: tabernacling as a lioness, and tearing the arm, also the crown (scalp, top), 21 and saw the first (first part) for himself, for there, a portion of the enactor (prescriber, lawgiver) was ceilinged (reserved, enpanelled?); and the heads of the people arrived, did (executed) the Righteousness of יהוה, and His Judgments (Ordinances) with Israel.

22 And of Dan, said, Dan is a lion cub (whelp, sojourner): shall leap (spring forth, pounce?) from the Bashan.

23 And of Naphtali, said, Naphtali shall be satisfied with delight (pleasantness, acceptance, ?goodwill?) and fullness of the Blessing of יהוה: shall possess (occupy) the sea area (west area) and the south wind area.

24 And of Asher, said, Blessed be with the sons of Asher; shall be accepted (pleased) of his brothers, and his foot shall dip (plunge) in oil. 25 Your sandals shall be iron and copper; and your endurance (sluggish, ?slowness?, ?slow pace?) shall be as your days.

26 No one is like the El of Jeshurun, riding the Heavens in your help, and the firmament in His Majesty (Excellence). 27 The Elohim of ancient (old) is a Refuge (Cohabitation, Abode), and from underneath are the Arms of Ages: and drives out the enemy from your face, and shall say, Destroy! 28 And Israel shall tabernacle in safety (security) alone: the eye-well (eye-fountain) of Jacob shall be to a land of grain and new wine (grape juice); also His Heavens, they shall drop down dew. 29 Happy are you, O Israel: who is like you, a People saved in יהוה, the Shield of your help, and which is the Sword of your majesty (excellence), and your enemies they shall be liars to you; and you, you shall tread upon their high places.

(NOTE: Not all verses will have comments)

Comparing the prophecies of Moses to the twelve tribes in this week's Torah portion to Jacob-Israel's prophecies to his twelve sons which are noted in the Torah portion of Va-Y'khi, in the book of Genesis (The prophecies in Gensis will be colored in Yellow):

Verse six

REUBEN

6 Have Reuben live and not die; and his adult men shall be enrolled (scrolled, numbered) [(with enrollment, with scroll, with number)].

Genesis 49:3 Reuben, you are my firstborn, my power, and the first of my might, the excellency (superiority, remainder) of dignity (exaltation, lifting up), and the excellency (superiority, remainder) of strength (fierceness): 4 Bubbling (Froth) as water, you shall not excel (be superior, remain); for you ascended the bed (bed chamber) of your father; then ascending, you defiled (polluted, profaned) my bed couch.

This was יהוה's Mercy to the tribe of Reuben in spite of the fact that their patriarch defiled his father's bed and caused Israel-Jacob to make this prophecy against his son.

Yair Davidiy of Brit Am and Hebrew Nations wrote a book titled "The Tribes" where he revealing scattering of the twelve tribes of Israel. This includes the tribe of Reuben, where Yair says they have settled in France.

Verse seven

JUDAH

7 And this is of Judah: and said, Hear, יהוה, the voice of Judah, and to his People: You shall bring him; his hands were multiple to him, and You shall be a help from his distressors (afflictors, foes).

Genesis 49:8 Judah, you, your brothers shall thank you: your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; the sons of your father, they shall shall bow down to you. 9 Judah is a whelp (cub) of a lion: you will ascend from the prey, my son: Stooped down, crouched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall arouse him? 10 The stick (branch, sceptre) shall not depart (turn away) from Judah, nor a lawgiver (decreer) from between his feet, for until Shiloh shall come; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. 11 Binding (Yoking, Girding) a foal (young donkey) to the vine, and a son of his female donkey to the choice vine; washing his clothing in the wine, and his covering in the bloods of grapes: 12 The eyes shall be brilliant (flashy, sparkling, dark flashing, sparkling red, dark red) from wine, and the teeth white from kheylev-milk.

Verses eight through eleven

LEVI

8 And to Levi, said, Your Thummim and your Urim are for your Merciful (Saintly) Man which you tested (tempted, tried, proved) him in Massah, you contended him upon the waters of Meribah; 9 that said to his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; and ta-his brothers were not regarded (acknowledged, respected, perceived), and did not know ta-his sons: for they have guarded (kept, observed, heeded) Your Saying, and they have preserved (watched) Your Covenant.

Genesis 49:5 Simeon and Levi are brothers; vessels of violence from their stabbings. 6 My soul, do you not enter in their intimacy (foundation, secrecy); My honor (liver), do you not unite (be one) in their assembly: for they killed a man in their anger, and in their pleasure (delight) they castrated (exterminated) an ox. 7 Cursed be their anger, for was fierce (strong); and their rage (wrath), for was cruel (harsh, severe): I will distribute (divide) them in Jacob, and I will scatter (disperse) them in Israel.

This was a prophecy of Yeshua, a descendant of the Levite tribe, guaranteed of the line of Aaron, through his mother, Mary, whom Moses did not see, and did not regard his brothers and did not know his sons after the flesh, but kept the Father's Word and His Covenant.

Verse twelve

BENJAMIN

12 Of Benjamin, said, The beloved of יהוה shall tabernacle for security (safety) upon him; shall protect (veil) upon him all of the day, and shall tabernacle between his upper arm corners (shoulders).

Genesis 49:27 Benjamin is a wolf shall tear (rend); in the breaking period (morning) shall consume (devour) the booty, and shall divide the spoil by the mixing period (evening).

Verses thirteen through seventeen

JOSEPH

Genesis 49:22 Joseph is a fruitful son, a fruitful son upon an eye-well; Daughters shall mount (hurl) over (upon) a strolling wall (traveling wall): 23 And they will be bitter (vexed), and they will shoot, and they will lurk a master of arrows (spears): 24 And his bow, she shall dwell in firmness (toughness, durability, permamence, strength), and the arms of his hands, they were solidified (refined) from the Hands of the Soaring One of Jacob; (from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel:) 25 from the El of your father, and will help you; and ta Shaddai, and shall bless you of the blessings of the Heavens from above, the blessings of the deep crouching under, the blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: 26 The blessings of your father have prevailed over (upon) the blessings of my conceivers (progenitors) unto the utmost (extent) little hills (hillocks) of ages: they shall be for the head of Joseph, and for the crown of a Nazarite (Set apartness) of his brothers.

Looking at the word CROUCH

The Hebrew word for crouch is "rah-vahts"- Resh, Bet, Tsade Sophit (רבץ) It is from Strong's Concordance number 7257, and its definition

A primitive root; to crouch (on all four legs folded, like a recumbent animal); by implication to recline, repose, brood, lurk, imbed: - crouch (down), fall down, make a fold, lay (cause to, make to) lie (down), make to rest, sit.

This could be where we get our modern English word "ribbit", meaning the expression of a frog who naturally "crouches".

Verses eighteen and nineteen

ZEBULUN AND ISSACHAR

18 And of Zebulun, said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out; and Issachar, in your tents. 19 They shall call the Peoples at the mountain; there they shall sacrifice Sacrifices of Righteousness: for they shall suck the abundance (resources) of the seas, and treasures (concealing valuables) shall be laid over (covered over, be private, hidden) at the sand.

Genesis 49:13 Zebulun shall tabernacle by the cove (coast) of the seas; and he shall be for a cove (coast) of ships; and his flank (thigh, testacles) shall be upon Zidon.

Genesis 49:14 Issachar is a strong-skeleton (gnaw strong) donkey crouching down between the burdens (stalls, sheepfolds): 15 And saw a rest area for goodness, and ta-the land that was delightful, (beautiful); and stretched out his shoulder to burden bear, and became for a tributary (task, forced labor) servant.

Verses twenty and twenty-one

GAD

20 And of Gad, said, Blessed shall be the enlargment (broadening) of Gad: tabernacling as a lioness, and tearing the arm, also the crown (scalp, top), 21 and saw the first (first part) for himself, for there, a portion of the enactor (prescriber, lawgiver) was ceilinged (reserved, enpanelled?); and the heads of the people arrived, did (executed) the Righteousness of יהוה, and His Judgments (Ordinances) with Israel.

Genesis 49:19 Gad, a troop, shall raid him: and he shall attack (gash) the heel.

Verse twenty two

DAN

22 And of Dan, said, Dan is a lion cub (whelp, sojourner): shall leap (spring forth, pounce?) from the Bashan.

Genesis 49:16 Dan shall judge his People as one of the tribes of Israel. 17 Dan shall be a serpent upon the way, an adder upon the well traveled path (highway) biting (striking) the heels of a horse, and his rider shall fall backwards.

Verse twenty three

NAPHTALI

23 And of Naphtali, said, Naphtali shall be satisfied with delight (pleasantness, acceptance, ?goodwill?) and fullness of the Blessing of יהוה: shall possess (occupy) the sea area (west area) and the south wind area.

Genesis 49:21 Naphtali is a female deer (doe) sent: giving beautiful (fairly, glistening) words.

Verse twenty four

ASHER

24 And of Asher, said, Blessed be with the sons of Asher; shall be accepted (pleased) of his brothers, and his foot shall dip (plunge) in oil. 25 Your sandals shall be iron and copper; and your endurance (sluggish, ?slowness?, ?slow pace?) shall be as your days.

Genesis 49:20 From Asher, shall be shemen-oil of her his bread, and he shall give dainties (delicacies, pleasures) a king.

Notice that the one of the tribes missing in this prophecy's Torah portion was Simeon. Why? If I am correct, Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries noted that it was a probably a means of an allegory to say that the tribes of Israel were not "hearing" the word through Moses, becuase Simeon's name means "hear", which is noted in the Torah portion of Vay-Yeytsey, in the book of Genesis

Genesis 29:33 And she conceived still, and she birthed a son; and she said, For יהוה had heard for I am hated, and has given to me את-this one: And she called his name, Simeon.

This would make sense, because the Israelites were already given the Song of Judgment against them, because they were not "listening" to the Torah and obeying Him through His Word, as well as His Spoken Word. Thank you Mark.

Notice also that the tribe Joseph had the most spoken in both the Vay-Y'khi and this week's Torah portion passages.

TORAH PORTION VA-Y'KHI

Verse twenty six

26 No one is like the El of Jeshurun, riding the Heavens in your help, and the firmament in His Majesty (Excellence).

Looking at the word JESHURUN

The Hebrew word for Jeshurun is "Y'shoo-roon"- Yod, Shin, Resh, Vav, Nun Sophit (ישרון). It is from Strong's Concordance number 3484, and its definition

From H3474; upright; Jeshurun, a symbolical name for Israel: - Jeshurun.

from 3474 "yah-shahr" (ישר), and its definition

A primitive root; to be straight or even; figuratively to be (causatively to make) right, pleasant, prosperous: - direct, fit, seem good (meet), + please (well), be (esteem, go) right (on), bring (look, make, take the) straight (way), be upright (-ly).

This name was the alterante name for Israel.

CHAPTER 34
Deuteronomy 34:1-12

Deu 34:1 And Moses acsended from the going overs (circumvent region, plains) of Moab to Mount Nebo at the head of the Pisgah, which is upon the facing of Jericho. And יהוה showed him [(made him see)] all of את-the land of את-the Gilead unto Dan, 2 and את all of Naphtali, and את-the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and את all of the land of Judah, unto the hindermost (furthest) sea, 3 and את-the Negeb, and את-the region (circumvented area, plain) at the cleaved area (cleaved valley area, split area) at Jericho, the city of the palm trees unto Zoar.

4 And יהוה said to him, This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to say, I will give her to your seed: seeing yourself among your eyes, and you will not go over there. 5 And Moses, the servant of יהוה, died there [(And was the death of Moses, the servant of יהוה there)] in the land of Moab upon the Mouth of יהוה,
6 and buried him in a narrow area (gorge, narrow lofty area, ?back?, ?back area?, ?majestic area?) in the land of Moab opposite (at the front of) Beth Peor: and a man does not know את-his burial place unto this day. 7 And Moses was a son of a hundred and twenty years in his death: his eye had not faint (weak, dulled, dimmed), and the freshness (force, ?vigor?) had not fled.

8 And the Sons of Israel wailed (wept) of את-Moses in the going overs (plains) of Moab thirty days: and the days of weeping (wailing) of the lamenting (mourning) of Moses had completed. 9 And Joshua, son of Nun, was full of the Spirit of Wisdom; for Moses had supported (laid) את-his hands upon him: and the Sons of Israel, they listened to him, and they did as the which יהוה commanded את-Moses. 10 And did not arise a prophet again in Israel like Moses of which he knew יהוה Faces to faces, 11 of all of the Signs and the Miracles (Wonders), which יהוה sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all of his servants, and to all of his land, 12 and of all of the strong hand, and of all of the great fear (terror) which Moses did to the eyes of all of Israel.

Verses one through three

1 And Moses acsended from the going overs (circumvent region, plains) of Moab to Mount Nebo at the head of the Pisgah, which is upon the facing of Jericho.

An organization on the verses10.blogspot.com website called The Honest Truth, Exploring God's Word has a short article titled "Moses View of the Promised Land". This is their article based from Deuteronomy 34:4:

"Moses was forbidden by God from entering the Promised Land because of what happened at Kadesh. But God did allow him to see it. At the end of Deuteronomy we read, “Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the Lord showed him the whole land – from Gilead to Dan, all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the western sea, the Negev and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar” (Deut. 34:1-3). In 2006 I went on a trip to Israel and one of our stops was Mount Nebo, in Jordan. This is the view back into Israel from the top":

"Compare this with a map of Israel, with all the places Moses saw marked":

"As you can see, it’s not physically possible to see the region of Naphtali (i.e. Galilee), nor the Mediterranean Sea, from standing on Mount Nebo. Therefore, what God showed Moses was something very special. He may have showed him the land in a vision, or transported him to a great height. Moses might not have entered the Promised Land, but he saw it in a way no-one else did".

These next few images are views that Moses saw on Mount Pisgah

Moses more or less is compared to Abraham viewing the land, which is noted in the Torah portion of Lekh L'kha, in the book of Gensis

Genesis 13:14 And יהוה said to Abram after that Lot separated (split) from upon him, Lift up (bear) your eyes now and look from the place which you are there; hiddenward (northward), and negebward (southward), and eastward, and seaward (westward): 15 for את-all the land which you see to yourself will I give her to your seed unto ages [(forever)]. 16 And I will set את-your seed as the dust of the Earth: which if a man is able to count את-the dust of the Earth, also your seed shall be counted. 17 Arise, walk in the land to her length and to her breadth; for I will give her to you. 18 And Abram tented, and came and dwelled among the Oaks of Mamre which was in Hebron, and built there an altar to יהוה.

This next scripture source is what former radio commentator, Paul Harvey, would coin the phrase "The rest of the story" regarding Moses after his death. It regards Moses' body, which is noted in the book of Jude

Jude 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. 9 Yet Michael, the Archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, hwhy rebuke thee

Even after Moses' death, HaSatan was disputing with, of all individuals, Michael, the Archangel, about Moses' body. I have an opinion that HaSatan wanted Moses' body exhumed to have it exalted in order for the people to focus on the man rather than יהוה. This was one of HaSatan's temptations to Yeshua, which is noted in the Gospel of Matthew

Matthew 4:5 Then the devil taketh Him up into the Holy City, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the Temple, 6 And saith unto Him, If Thou be the Son of Elohim, cast Thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His messengers charge concerning Thee: and in their hands they shall bear Thee up, lest at any time Thou dash Thy Foot against a stone. 7 Yeshua said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt יהוה, thy Elohim.

HaSatan wanted Yeshua exalted as a man which would not glorify יהוה, the unseen Father, just like HaSatan wanted Moses' body to be glorified instead of יהוה.

Moses died for his disobedience against יהוה for striking the rock and not speaking to it, which is noted in the Torah portion of Khukath, in the book of Numbers

Numbers 20:1 And the Sons of Israel, of all of the Congregation, they came at the Wilderness of Zin in the first renewed month: and the People dwelled in Kadesh; and Miriam, she had the death [(she died)] there, and she had the burial [(she was buried)] there. 2 And was no water for the Congregation: and they assembled upon (over) Moses and upon (over) Aaron. 3 And the People contended (complained, grappled) with Moses, and they said, to say, And to him ([And o that)] we shall expire among the expiration of our brothers to the Face of יהוה!
4 And to why you have brought ta-the Assembly of יהוה to this wilderness, for the death [(to die, for dying)] there, us and our cattle (brutish beasts, brutish cattle)? 5 And to why have you acsended us from Egypt to bring us to this evil place, is not a place of seed, and fig, and vine, and pomegranate; and has no water for imbibing (drinking)?

6 And Moses and Aaron went from the face of the Assembly to the Entrance of the Tent of Appointment, and they fell upon their faces: and the Glory of יהוה appeared to them. 7 And יהוה spoke to Moses, to say, 8 Take את-the staff (rod, branch), and assemble את-the Congregation, you, and Aaron, your brother, and you shall speak to the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) to their eyes; and shall give his water, and you shall bring out the water from the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) for them: and you shall make quaff (drink) את-the Congregation and את-their cattle (brutish beasts, brutish cattle).

9 And Moses took ta-the staff (rod, branch) from of the Face of יהוה, as the which was commanded him. 10 And Moses and Aaron, they assembled ta-the Assembly to the face of the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress), and said unto them, Hear now, the rebels (bitter ones)! That from this lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) we shall bring out to you water?! 11 And Moses raised ta-his hand, and struck ta-the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) among his staff (rod, branch) two times: and much of the waters, they came out, and the Congregation, she imbibed (drank), and their cattle (brutish beasts, brutish cattle) also.

12 And יהוה spoke to Moses and to Aaron, Because you did not believe (have faith) in Me, to sanctify Me to the eyes of the Sons of Israel, for (by) thus you shall not bring ta-this Assembly to the land which I am giving [(I have given)] to them. 13 These are the waters of Meribah which the Sons of Israel, they contended (complained, grappled) at יהוה-את, and was sanctified among them.

Moses could have continued crossing over to the promised land if he obeyed, because his eyes were still strong for his age.  יהוה reminded Moses this again just in case he asked why he couldn't go across with the Israelites. One of my grandmothers who was old at the time, was not allowed a certain food item. She asked why she couldn't have it, and it was explained to her that it would affect her health. Later she asked the same question "Why can't I have it"?. In Moses' case, יהוה was being proactive toward him "just in case" he would potentially ask Him again. יהוה said this to Moses, which is noted in the Torah portion of Va-Ethkhanan, in the book of Deuteronomy.

Deuteronomy 3:23 And I implored (gave) יהוה in that time, to say, 24 You, Adonai יהוה, You have begun (rubbed) to show את-Your servant את-Your Greatness, and את-Your Strong Hand: which who is El in the Heavens and in the Earth, which can do according to (as) Your Doings (Works), and according to (as) Your Might? 25 I will go over now, and I will see את-the good land which is in over the Jordan, this good mountain area, and the Lebanon. 26 And יהוה was overgoing on me for your account, and did not listen to me: and יהוה said to me, Multiple is to you; you will not speak again to Me anymore on this word.

Indirectly related, there was a similar instance that occurred when believers in Yeshua did not obey the Ruakh HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) in doing the right thing, and died in their prime, which is noted in the book of the Acts

Acts 5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira, his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto the Lord. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the spirit: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of יהוה? Behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the spirit: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the assembly, and upon as many as heard these things.

This couple disobeyed the Spirit of Elohim, and it cost them their lives. יהוה is showing us as believers that it is not just a Tanakhic thing, but it also applies to the post-resurrection era, in the Brith Khadashah (the New Covenant) as well.

That ends this week's Torah portion commentary.

This also ends the book of Deuteronomy as well as this year's Torah Cycle.

Don't cry, we are going to read the Torah all over again יהוה willing.
