NOTE: All of the yous and yours underlined as "you" and "your" indicates that the you and the your are plural. Also any of the words that are in pink lettering as "you" refers to the feminine gender, but it is only applied when it does not commonly refer to a woman. This only is applied to this week's Torah portion text at this time.
CHAPTER 31
Deuteronomy 31:1-30
Deu 31:1 And Moses went and spoke את-these Words to all of Israel. 2 And said to them, I am a son of a hundred and twenty years the day (today); I am not able anymore (still) to go out and to come: also, יהוה hath said to me, You shall not go over את-this Jordan. 3 יהוה, your Elohim, He will go over to your face, He will destroy את-these nations from of your face, and you shall dispossess them: Joshua, he shall go over to your face as the which יהוה had spoken, 4 and יהוה shall do to them as the which was done to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and to their land which had destroyed them, 5 and יהוה shall give them to your face, and you shall do to them according to [(as)] all of the Commandment which I have commanded you. 6 Be ahmats-strong (ahmats-strengthened) and courageous (encouraged, be encouraged), do you not fear them, and do you not be afraid (harassed) [(not shake terribly)] from their faces: for יהוה, your Elohim, He is the One going with you; will not fail you, and will not forsake you.
7 And Moses called to Joshua, and said to him to the eyes of all Israel, Be ahmats-strong (ahmats-strengthened) and courageous (encouraged, be encouraged): for you, you shall make come את-this People [(have את-this People come, bring את-this People)] to the land which יהוה swore to their fathers to give to them; and you, you shall have them inherit her. 8 and יהוה, He is the One going to your face; He will be with you, will not fail you, and will not forsake you: do you not fear, and do you not be dismayed.
9 And Moses wrote את-this Teaching (Torah), and gave her to the Priests, the sons of Levi that bear (carry, lift up) [(the ones bearing (carrying, lifting up))] את-the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה, and to all of the Elders of Israel. 10 And Moses commanded them, to say, from (with) the end of seven years, in the Appointed Time of the year of the Shemitah-release, on the Feast of the Sukkoth (Booths, Tabernacles) 11 in coming all of Israel to see את-the Face of יהוה, your Elohim, in the Place which shall choose, you shall call out (proclaim) את-this Teaching (Torah) at the front of [(before)] all of Israel in their ears, 12 the Assembly of את-the People, the men (frail men), and the women (frail women), and the little ones, and your sojourner which is in your gates, by that, they may hear, and by that, they may learn, and they may revere (fear, give awe at) יהוה-את, your Elohim, and they may guard (keep, observe, take heed of) him to do את-all of the Words of this Teaching (Torah): 13 And their sons which they have not known, they shall hear, and they shall learn to revere (give awe at, fear) יהוה-את, your Elohim all of the days which you are living upon the Ground which you are going over את-the Jordan there to possess (occupy) her.
14 And יהוה said to Moses, Behold, your days for the death, they are drawing near: Call את-Joshua, and make him stand in the Tent of Appointment, and I will command him. And Moses and Joshua went, and made him stand [(presented him)] in the Tent of Appointment. 15 And יהוה appeared in the Tent in the Pillar of the Cloud: and the Pillar of the Cloud stood over (upon) the Entrance of the Tent.
16 And יהוה said to Moses, Behold, you shall lay with your fathers; and this People will arise and go whoring after the elohim of the foreigners of the land which he is coming there in his nearness, and shall forsake Me, and shall violate את-My Covenant which I have cut with him, 17 and My Anger shall glow against him in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will sether-hide My Face from them, and shall be for consumption, and shall find him mutiple evils and troubles (distresses); and say in that day, That not upon thus my Elohim is not in my drawing nearness has found me these evils? 18 And I, that sether-hiding, I shall sether-hide My Face in that day upon (over) all of the evil which was done, for shall face to other elohim.
19 And now write for yourselves את-this Song, and have את-the Sons of Israel learn her: put her in their mouths, by that, this Song, she shall be to Me for a Witness (Testimony) against the Sons of Israel, 20 for I shall have them come [(bring them)] to the Ground which I swore to their fathers flowing with fatness (milk) and thickness (honey) [(fatness and thickness, milk and honey)]; and shall eat, and shall be satisfied, and shall be waxing fat; and shall face to other elohim and shall serve them, and shall despise (scorn) Me, and will violate את-My Covenant, 21 and shall be, when they have found of him mutiple evils and troubles (distresses), and shall eye-testify her this Song to his face for a Witness (Testimony); for she shall not be forgotten from the mouth of his seed: for I know את-his imagination (purpose) which he is doing the day (today) in interruption at my having them come [(brining them)] to the land which I have sworn. 22 And Moses wrote את-this Song in that day, and had her learned את-the Sons of Israel, 23 and commanded את-Joshua, son of Nun, and said, Be ahmats-strong (ahmats-strengthened) and courageous (encouraged, be encouraged): for you, you shall make come (bring) את-the Sons of Israel to the land which I have swore to them: and I, I am with you.
24 And was, as Moses had finished to write the Words of this Teaching (Torah) upon a Scroll until their completion (conclusion). 25 And Moses commanded את-the Levites bearing (lifting up, carry) the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה, to say, 26 Takeאת the Scroll of this Teaching (Torah), and you shall put him at with the side of the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה, your Elohim, and shall be there for a Witness (Testimony) against you, 27 for I, I know את-your rebellion and את-the stiffness of your neck: behold, in my being still alive with you the day (today), you have been rebellious with יהוה; and moreover (even, also) when after my death??! 28 Assemble to me all of את-the Elders of your Tribes, and your Officers, and I will speak את these Words in their ears, and I will make witness (testify) את-the Heavens and את-the Earth against them, 29 for I know that after my death, for corrupting, you will corrupt yourselves, and you will turn from the Way which I have commanded you; and you will encounter (meet) the evil (evilness) in the latter days; for you will do את-the evilness in the Eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him in the doing (work) of your hands. 30 And Moses spoke in the ears of all of the Assembly of Israel את-the Words of this Song until their completion (conclusion).
(NOTE: Not all verses will have comments)
Verses one and two
1 And Moses went and spoke את-these Words to all of Israel. 2 And said to them, I am a son of a hundred and twenty years the day (today); I am not able anymore (still) to go out and to come: also, יהוה hath said to me, You shall not go over את-this Jordan.
Moses was saying to the Israelites in many words that today is his birthday. We can calculate Moses' birthdate based on this week's Torah portion passage from other scripture accounts. This is what is noted in the book of Joshua
Joshua 1:1 Now after the death of Moses, the servant of יהוה, it came to pass, that יהוה spake unto Joshua, son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, 2 Moses, My servant, is dead; now therefore arise, go over את-this Jordan, thou, and all this People, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the Sons of Israel.... 10 Then Joshua commanded את-the Officers of the People, saying, 11 Pass through the host, and command את-the People, saying, Prepare your victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over את-this Jordan, to go in to possess את-the land, which יהוה, your Elohim, giveth you to possess her.
יהוה is telling Joshua to cross over the Jordan in three days. We find out later which date they crossed over the Jordan, which is noted in the book of Joshua
Joshua 4:19 And the People came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.
The tenth day of the first month of the Aviv was the date that they crossed over. Subtract the three days hwhy told Joshua in chapter one, and it comes to the seventh day of the first month of the Aviv, in the forty-first year. This is what is noted in the Torah portion of V'zoth HaBrakhah, in the book of Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 34:5 And Moses, the servant of יהוה, died there in the land of Moab upon the Mouth of יהוה,
6 and buried him in a narrow area (gorge) in the land of Moab opposite (at the front of) Beth Peor: and a man does not know ta-his burial place unto this day. 7 And Moses was a son of a hundred and twenty years in his death: his eye had not faint (dimmed), and the freshness (force, ?vigor?) had not fled. 8 And the Sons of Israel wailed (wept) of את-Moses in the going overs (circumvent regions, plains) of Moab thirty days: and the days of weeping and mourning for Moses had ended. 9 And Joshua, son of Nun, was full of the Spirit of Wisdom; for Moses had supported (laid) את-his hands upon him: and the Sons of Israel, they listened to him, and they did as the which יהוה commanded את-Moses.
We can calculate backwards from the seventh day of the first month from the thirty days of mourning, taking the time line to the seventh day of the twelfth month of Adar in the fortieth year. This was the day that Moses died on Mount Pisgah. It was like יהוה saying to Moses, "Happy Birthday, Moses. This is My gift to you....PARADISE!!!".
Now that the date of Moses' birthdate is established, we can go further calculating Moses' first three months of life by looking at this account, which is noted the Torah portion of Sh'moth, in the book of Exodus
Exodus 2:1 And a man from the house of Levi went, and took את-a daughter of Levi. 2 And the woman, she conceived, and she birthed a son: and she saw him that he was good [(he was for goodness)], she tsaphan-hid him three months. 3 And was not able anymore at the hiding of him, and she took for him an ark of papyrus (bulrush, absorbent material), and she daubed her in the slime (bitumen) and in the pitch (asphalt), and she set את-the lad (male child) in her; and she was set in the reeds upon the lip of the river. 4 And his sister, she stood from a distance to know what would be done to him. 5 And the daughter of Pharaoh, she descended (went down) to wash upon the river; And her young women were walking upon the hand of the river; and she saw את-the ark in the midst of the reeds, and she sent את-her female servant, and she took her. 6 And she opened her, and she saw him, את-the lad (male child): and behold, a young boy was weeping. And she had compassion (pity) upon him, and she said, This one is from the lads (male children) of the Hebrews. 7 And his sister, she said to the daughter of Pharaoh, I can go, and I can call a wet nurse from the Hebrew women for you, and she may wet nurse את-the lad (male child) for you. 8 And the daughter of Pharaoh, she said to her, Go. And the maiden (virgin, secret young girl), she went and she called ta-the mother of the lad (male child). 9 And the daughter of Pharaoh, she said to her, Go (Walk) את-this lad (male child), and wet nurse him for me, and I, I will give את-your wages. And the woman, she took the lad (male child), and she wet nursed him.
Knowing that he was born on the seventh day of the twelfth month, he was hidden by his mother, Jochebed, for three months. This would take it to, at the earliest date, the seventh day of the third month of Sivan. Resarching further, with a very strong probability (of 99.999% surity), we can calculate that the day Moses was put in a pitched basket and sent down the Nile to be found by the Pharaoh's daughter was on the Spring High Holy Day of SHAVUOTH!!!
!!!!!כבד לך יהוה
Bill Coud of Shoreshim Ministries noted that Moses couldn't go over the Jordan, because he smote the rock at Meribah, which is noted in the Torah portion of Khukath, in the book of Numbers
Numbers 20:6 And Moses and Aaron went from the face of the Assembly to the Entrance of the Tent of Appointment, and they fell upon their faces: and the Glory of יהוה appeared to them. 7 And יהוה spoke to Moses, to say, 8 Take את-the staff (rod, branch), and assemble את-the Congregation, you, and Aaron, your brother, and you shall speak to the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) to their eyes; and shall give his water, and you shall bring out the water from the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) for them: and you shall make את-the Congregation and את-their beasts (cattle, brutish beasts, brutish cattle) shall imbibe (quaff, drink). 9 And Moses took את-the staff (rod, branch) from of the Face of יהוה, as the which was commanded him. 10 And Moses and Aaron, they assembled את-the Assembly to the face of the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress), and said unto them, Hear now, the rebels! That from this lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) we shall bring out to you water?! 11 And Moses raised את-his hand, and struck את-the lofty rock (craggy rock, ragged rock, stronghold, fortress) among his staff (rod, branch) two times: and much of the waters, they came out, and the Congregation, she drank and their beasts (cattle, brutish beasts, brutish cattle) also. 12 And יהוה spoke to Moses and to Aaron, Because you did not believe (have faith) in Me, to sanctify Me to the eyes of the Sons of Israel, for thus you shall not bring את-this Assembly to the land which I am giving to them. 13 These are the waters of Meribah which the Sons of Israel, they contended (complained, grappled) at יהוה-את, and was sanctified among them.
Bill Cloud noted that the rock was a symbol of Yeshua. In my assertion, if Moses was speaking to the rock, he would have spoken symbolically to Yeshua. Instead, he struck the rock, which was symbolically striking Yeshua, and it also showed to the Assembly that it was Moses that provided the water and not Yeshua. Also, Moses already struck the rock at Rephidim, which is noted in the Torah portion of B'shalakh, in the book of Exodus
Exodus 17:1 And all of the Congregation of the Sons of Israel, they pulled up (journeyed) from the Wilderness of Sin, by their journeys upon the Mouth of יהוה, and they camped in Rephidim: and was no water for the People to drink. 2 And the People contended (strived) with Moses, and they said, Give water to us, and we may drink! And Moses said to them, Why (How) are you contending with me? Why (How) are you testing (tempting) יהוה-את?!
3 And the People thirsted there for the water; and the People murmured upon (over) Moses, and said, To what is this that you have ascended us from Egypt to have me dead, and את-my sons, and את-my livestock on the thirst? 4 And Moses cried to יהוה, to say, What shall I do to this People? Yet a little and they will skullcast (skullstone, weightcast, stonecast) me. 5 And יהוה said to Moses, Go over to the face of the People, and take from the Elders of Israel with you; And your staff (rod, branch) which you struck את-the river on him, take in your hand, and you go. 6 Behold, I will stand to your face there upon the cliff rock in Horeb; and you shall strike on the cliff rock, and water shall come out from him, and the People may drink. And Moses did so to the eyes of the Elders of Israel.
Moses already struck a rock once, which was symbolic of Yeshua who was struck by the Jewish authorities and the Roman soldiers, and it can be accomplished "one time only". Moses striking the rock at Meribah was symbolically Yeshua being physically struck "a second time", and Yeshua could only be struck "once". When Moses did that, he went against יהוה's Word and its purpose and symbolicness. That is why Moses was not allowed to go over the Jordan. Also, Yeshua is known as "the Living Water",which is noted in the Gospel of John
John 4:10 Yeshua answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of יהוה, and Who it is that saith to thee, Give Me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee Living Water.... 14 But whosoever drinketh of the Water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the Water that I shall give him shall be in him a Well of Water springing up into Everlasting Life.
John 7:38 He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water.
This came from the book of the prophet Isaiah
Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the Wells of Salvation.
Bill Cloud also noted that the symbolic purpose of Moses not being able to go over the Jordan to the promised land, because he was the symbolic Torah, whereas, Joshua, in Hebrew Y'hoshua, meaning "Yah Saves", is symbolic of Yeshua bringing His People to the promised land. Yeshua is also going to bring us to the promised land in His time. Thank you Bill.
Verses three through five
3 יהוה, your Elohim, He will go over to your face, He will destroy את-these nations from of your face, and you shall dispossess them: Joshua, he shall go over to your face as the which יהוה had spoken, 4 and יהוה shall do to them as the which was done to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and to their land which had destroyed them, 5 and יהוה shall give them to your face, and you shall do to them according to [(as)] all of the Commandment which I have commanded you.
This can relate to the end times when Yeshua with the saints shall take the nations and destroy them, which is noted by the apostle John, in the book of Revelation
Revelation 7:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Verses nine through thirteen
This Commandment is based on the Commandment of the Shemitah, which is noted in the Torah portion of R'ey, in the book of Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 15:1 At the end of seven years, you shall do (make) a Shemitah-release. 2 And this is the Word of the Shemitah-release: Every master shall release the debt (creditor) of his hand which was borrowed among his neighbor; shall not exact (tax) ta-his neighbor, and ta-his brother; for a Shemitah-release is called out for (by) יהוה.
3 You may exact (tax) את-the alien (foreigner): and the which shall belong to you, you shall release your hand at את-your brother; 4 for ending (disappearing), shall not be among you a needy one; for blessing, יהוה shall bless you in the Land which יהוה, your Elohim, is giving to you of an inheritance to possess (occupy) her:
Looking at the word SHEMITAH-RELEASE
The Hebrew word for Shemitah-release is "sh'mee-tah"- Shin, Mem, Tet, Heh (שמטה). It is from Strong's Concordance number 8059, and its definition
From H8058; remission (of debt) or suspension (of labor): - release.
from 8058 "shah-maht" (שמט), and its definiton
A primitive root; to fling down; incipiently to jostle; figuratively to let alone, desist, remit: - discontinue, overthrow, release, let rest, shake, stumble, throw down.
The Hebrew word "shemat" is used in the paragraph regarding the release, and it is translated above as "release". These Hebrew words are where we get our modern English word "smite". In other words, יהוה was saying to them that they were to "smite" the debts among their brothers in the seventh systematic year, and if they did not "smite" the debts that He will "smite" their economy.
Based on Jonathan Cahn of Beth Israel Worship Center who wrote the New York Times best sellers, "The Harbinger" and "The Mystery of the Shemitah", he noted that the year of the Shemitah occurred in the years 2001 and 2008, and they both occurred on the same Jewish calendar day of the 29th day of the month of Elul. The United States did not "smite" the debts of the people during these seventh years, and it resulted in יהוה "smiting" the U.S. economy.
For the record, I am not making predictions, the tetrad blood moons (the sequence of four) discovered by Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries, occurred, during the Feast of Passover/Unleavened Bread in 2014 and 2015, and during the Feast of Sukkoth in 2014 and 2015. It was told to the people that it was very rare, and on top of this, it was visible in "Jerusalem".
The Torah portion of R'ey, in the book of Deuteronomy, occurred in the week of August 9th-15th, 2015, which noted this week's Torah portion passage. During that week, the nation of China had devalued their currency and causing some panic in the stock markets, including the United States on Tuesday of that week. Also, the United States is at least 800 billion dollars in debt to China.
As Rico Cortes of Wisdom in Torah Ministries says "Ko-eenkideenkee? I don't think so".
This is the same Shemitah year that the Priests were to read the Torah to the Israelites, which is noted in this Torah portion passage in verses ten through thirteen, but today, we as believers are all Priests of the Kingdom, which is noted by the apostle Peter in his epistle, and by the apostle John, in the book of Revelation
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Reveleation 1:5 And from Yeshua, the Messiah, who is the Faithful Witness, and the First Begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His Own Blood, 6 And hath made us kings and Priests unto יהוה and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Therefore, we as believers in Yeshua are Priests in the Messiah, and are commanded to read the Torah on the Shemitah year during Sukkoth.
The easiest way to have the Commandments read is to play an audio Bible version of the it to save your voices.

TORAH PORTION R'EY
Looking at verse twelve of this week's Torah portion passage again, it says
12 the Assembly of את-the People, the men (frail men), and the women (frail women), and the little ones, and your sojourner which is in your gates, by that, they may hear, and by that, they may learn, and they may revere (fear, give awe at) יהוה-את, your Elohim, and they may guard (keep, observe, take heed of) him to do את-all of the Words of this Teaching (Torah):
There are at times that King David and King Solomon at times expressed the benefits of the Reverence (Fear Aweness) of יהוה, which are noted in the books of Pslams and Proverbs
Psalm 19:9 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה is clean, enduring for ever:...
Psalm 22:23 Ye that revere (fear, awe) יהוה, praise Him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and revere (fear, awe) Him, all ye the Seed of Israel.
Psalm 34:11 Come, ye sons, hearken unto me: I will teach you the Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה.
Psalm 111:10 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His Commandments: His praise endureth for ever.
Proverb 1:7 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of hwhy is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverb 8:13 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Proverb 9:10 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom:...
Proverb 10:27 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה prolongeth days:...
Proverb 14:26 In the Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה is strong confidence: and his sons shall have a place of refuge.
Proverb 14:27 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה is a Fountain of Life, to depart from the snares of death.
Proverb 15:16 Better is little with the Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה than great treasure and trouble therewith.
Proverb 15:33 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה is the Instruction of Wisdom;...
Proverb 19:23 The Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of hwhy tendeth to Life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
Proverb 22:4 By humility and the Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה are riches, and honour, and life.
Proverb 23:17 Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of יהוה all the day long.
This is the summary of each of these verses regarding fearing יהוה:
*Endures forever
*Makes praise
*Beginning of knowledge
*Hates evil and arrogance
*Lengthen's one's days of life
*Gives confidence
*Provides a place of refuge
*A fountain of life
*The littleness of it is more than a lot, like the faith of a mustard seed
*The instruction of wisdom
*Tends to like, like gardening life
*Riches, honor and life
*To be practiced all day
Even the apostle Paul walked in the Reverence (Fear Aweness) of יהוה, which is noted in the book of the Acts
Acts 9:26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple. 27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the Name of Yeshua. 28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem. 29 And he spake boldly in the Name of the Lord Yeshua, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him. 30 Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus. 31 Then had the assembly rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the Reverence (Fear, Aweness) of the Lord יהוה, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, were multiplied.
The Reverence (Fear Aweness) of hwhy applies to us as believers today in whatever we do in accordance to His Will.
Verses sixteen through eighteen
יהוה reminded this to Moses when he was with Joshua
at the Tent of Appointment. It has been a long time since we last heard of the Pillar of the Cloud and the Tent. This prophecy was a long term prophecy regarding their descendants like the one יהוה spoke to Abraham, which is noted in the Torah portion of Lekh L'kha, in the book of Genesis
Genesis 15:13 And said to Abram, Knowing, you shall know that your seed shall be a stranger in a land not belonging to them, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14 And also את-the nation, whom they shall serve will I judge: and after thus, shall they come out among a great substance. 15 And you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in good satisfaction. 16 And the fourth generation, they shall return here: for the iniquity of the Amorites was not complete (whole) until now. 17 And was, the sun gone down, and was dusk (twilight), and behold, a smoking furnace and a fiery torch that went over between those pieces. 18 In that day יהוה cut את-Abram a Covenant, to say, To your seed I have given את-this land from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19 את-the Kenites, and ta-the Kenizzites, and את the Kadmonites, 20 And את-the Hittites, and את-the Perizzites, and את-the Rephaim, 21 And את-the Amorites, and ta-the Canaanites, and את-the Girgashites, and את-the Jebusites.
Indirectly related, Yeshua prophecied to His disciples regarding Herod's Temple in the Gospel of Matthew
Matthew 24:1 And Yeshua went out, and departed from the Temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the Temple. 2 And Yeshua said unto them, See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
This prophesy came to pass about forty years later (the time of one generation) after Yeshua's death and resurrection when the Roman soldiers attacked the city, conquered it and destroyed it.
Verse nineteen
19 And now write for yourselves את-this Song, and have את-the Sons of Israel learn her: put her in their mouths, by that, this Song, she shall be to Me for a Witness (Testimony) against the Sons of Israel,
Believe it or not, when it is translated "for yourselves", it is in the Hebrew text "lah-khem" (לכם) which is the plural form of "you". When יהוה said "write for yourselves this Song", did it include Moses too? Was Moses part of the judgment warning against Israel? It doesn't make sense, because the Song was for the People and not for Moses. The real answer is that יהוה said this to Moses "and Joshua" to write the Song out, which is noted in the Torah portion of Ha'Azinu, in the book of Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 32:44 And Moses came and spoke ta-all of the Words of this Song in the ears of the People, he, and Hoshea, son of Nun.
In the Hebrew text, the song is shown to be female.
The phrase "and teach her" is the Hebrew word "v'lahm-dah"

The Hebrew letter Heh in the end has a dot in it, which most of the time means that the word "song" in the verse is female. How many people know that when they write any song, the work is female?
This Song is in the chapter of thirty two, which will be read in next week's Torah portion of Ha'azinu.
Verse twenty three
23 and commanded את-Joshua, son of Nun, and said, Be ahmats-strong (ahmats-strengthened) and courageous (encouraged, be encouraged): for you, you shall make come (bring) את-the Sons of Israel to the land which I have swore to them: and I, I am with you.
This should have been inserted earlier in this week's Torah portion chapter between verses seven and eight, but it was here in verse twenty three we get the account. Why did יהוה allow Moses to write the actual account here? Did Moses forget and then place it here? Or did Moses do it this way on purpose for whatever reason? I don't have an answer to that at this time.
Verses twenty four through twenty seven
In other words, Moses was really mad and angry against his Levitical brothers because they were already rebellious. I'm not suprised, because is known for his hot temper as when he struck and Egyptian while a prince in Egypt and when he expressed his anger against the People in stricking the rock at Meribah. Moses was more ticked off by saying to them, in a stern matter, that like a parent dying, they are going to be more rebellious. It is as if the Levites are saying, "The father (Moses) is dead, we can get away with anything we want now", and I have witnessed this in my lifetime, as well as myself during my non-belief days.
In verse twenty six of this week's Torah portion passage, this Scroll is the Song that Moses wrote to be put in the side of the Ark of The Covenant. the Ark had a total of four items that were placed in him:
*The Two Tablets of the Stones
*Aaron's Budded Rod
*The Jar of the Manna
*The Torah Scroll of the Future Judgment of the Israelites
QUESTION: "Does the Ark of the Covenant still exist today"? I don't have an answer to that at this time.
Verses twenty eight through thirty
Though it doesn't say it, did the Israelites responded "No, no, Moses, we won't turn away from יהוה". How many of us when we were children have responded similarly to our parents, in being told that something would happen to us if we don't obey or behave, and we reply "We won't mommy" or "We won't, daddy", but we did it anyway, and later received a nice spanking in the glutamus maximus by our parents? This could have been the similar matter with יהוה against the Israelites, and sure enough, they didn't keep the Covenant after Joshua's death, but did what was right in their own eyes, which is noted in the book of Judges.
Judges 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
Look at the world today, the majority of them are doing just that, especially the leaders today. This is what is called "anarchy". What is happening to this world today is that they are shutting up the Kingdom of Heaven by blocking and stopping the relationship flow between יהוה and mankind. This will result in the Anti Messiah to come from Hell, named after his Hebrew name, Heyleyl (a.k.a. Lucifer- HaSatan), and the world will see who they were really submitting to. Woe be unto them that exist on the earth during the upcoming, what is commonly called, the Seven Years Tribulation, which is really Daniel's last week of the seventy weeks of years.
Next week, we will see the song that Moses wrote.
That ends this week's Torah portion commentary.
